Nino purred as he sat on Jun’s lap, running his fingers up Jun’s chest nuzzling his nose and mouth against his neck just below his ear and Jun had to wonder how somebody as innocent as his life mate could be such a complete tease. Their tails were having a mini battle against his legs. His hands were running up the small of Nino’s back trying not to get turned on but finding it almost impossible. The only thing that did manage to stop him was thinking that he had never been with a man and even if Nino was his life mate he had no idea what he was doing,

“Ju-Junny…” Nino murmured shyly stopping his nuzzling to look up at him, his eyes were flat against his head and his eyes were wondering around, looking anywhere but into his eyes, his cheeks were flushing hotly and Jun thought he had never seen anybody looking so cute and he couldn’t stop himself from rubbing his cheek against him before asking  

“What’s wrong, baby?”

“Nino… Nino wants to be with Junny, but Nino has never been with anybody before and he doesn’t want Junny to be disappointed in Nino…” he mumbled hiding his face behind his hands as his blush deepened and Jun guessed that there would be a matching flush in his own face. To hide his embarrassment he pulled at one of his life mate’s ears before pulling him against his chest and feeling the racing heartbeat.

“We don’t have to rush anything, we can wait until we’ve moved in together can’t we?” he wasn’t sure if it was the answer Nino wanted but his little lover let out a purr giving a startled cry as the words sunk into his head

“So Junny does want to live with Nino?” Nino’s head snapped up and his eyes were shining with excitement as his tail flicked around again.

“Of course I do…” Jun smiled wondering why Nino was so surprised,

“But… If Nino has Kazu living inside of him… Won’t Mr Satoshi be upset that Kazu isn’t living with him?” Nino asked and Jun fully fell in love with his gentle lover, and if Nino wasn’t Takuya from the legend then he came close, he was so sweet and perfect.

“Satoshi and I have talked about that, Nino… We’re going to live next door to each other…” Jun murmured and watched as Nino’s head tilted to one side

“Junny is moving because of Nino?” he asked looking upset that he would be moving.

“No, Jun is moving because my apartment is my apartment and I want somewhere that will be mine and Nino’s apartment” He answered quickly trying to dispel his depressed feelings, it was the half-truth anyway and Nino smiled sweetly leaning against him his purrs filling the room. Before he realised it the purrs turned to snores and even trying as hard as could he couldn’t get out of his grip and he was almost terrified when Kazu let out a sigh his eyes flicking open.

“What the hell are you doing?” Kazu yelled jumping away and spitting at him, his black and white hairs standing on end.

“He’s your uncle?”

“Yep, my mum’s brother, after the church of fates… Dismissed his work he vanished, I wasn’t going to send him an invite but Masaki being Masaki sent him one and to everyone’s amazement he accepted and came, he didn’t speak to anybody though…” Sho told him and Satoshi pulled on his ear in a distracted way, looking up at his lifelong friend, he wasn’t sure why he was surprised, everybody said that the fates liked to have fun with them, maybe this was just an angle of it.

“When we were talking before you said that you didn’t know Kazu very well… And you were acted surprised when Masaki was talking about them, but Nino lives here you must have known something…”

“I did, Masa told me but I have to admit that I thought it was all a bit of a joke and I don’t really know much about Kazu, I’ve always spent more time with Nino, no offence but he’s a lot sweeter than your life mate and he actually likes me…” Sho mumbled sitting down his tail flicking as he guiltily looked up at him.

“Kazu’s sweet too” Satoshi mumbled but he had to admit that so far Kazu had only been sweet to him, he knew deep down that Kazu was just as sweet and loving as Nino he just found it harder to show it than his innocent counterpart that wore his heart on his sleeve

“I’m sure he is to you, and as long as he long as he loves you and treats you okay, it doesn’t matter…” Sho told him and the artist gave a smile nodding at him. “Besides, from the way your mum was raving to mine I think your parents have fallen in love with him too… Have you told them about his… Um… Nino?”

“No, we haven’t told Kazu about Nino…” He answered “I can only hope that he will be as accepting as Nino was about it…”

“I’m sure you’ll be able to convince him…” Sho said with more confidence than Satoshi felt, he loved Kazu but he had no doubt that he would be as easy going and trusting  

“Maybe” Satoshi sighed as he flicked his eyes back to the book “Where does your uncle live?”

“Why?” his friend asked and given that Sho had seemed a little embarrassed about his uncle, Satoshi felt his tail flick a few times before he answered

“Well, we wanted to ask him about the journal”

“The journal? You mean the one that was disproved by the church of the fates, if this is because of Kazu and Nino… He’s a kook…” Sho mumbled stiffly and Satoshi nodded

“Yeah but if there is anything about a split personality and two fated mates, it’s better than nothing, ne?” he said slowly and Sho gave a sigh his tail flicking around for a while as he thought it over

“I’ll… I’ll phone him for you, but don’t get your hopes up too much, Satoshi… He more than likely just made it up…” he said and Satoshi gave a sleepy thankful smile

“Thank-you…”

“Like I said don’t get your hopes up…” His friend said getting to his feet and they were both startled when the bedroom door slammed open and Jun came out shouting followed by a very angry Kazu, whose tail hair was standing on end as he hissed and spit at Jun.

“You pervert!” Kazu growled punching out at him and Satoshi tried to move forward to stop him from actually hitting Jun. Masaki had come out of the kitchen, flour smeared down his cheek

“I said I was sorry…” Jun muttered and Satoshi grabbed his life mate around his waist as he snapped out

“’You said you were sorry?’ Oh of course that makes it all okay, I knew you were a pervert!”

“Kazu...” Masaki started and Kazu flicked his tail as he glared at his friend.

“I fall asleep and then when I wake up and he’s slobbering all over me!” He yelled and Satoshi stroked Kazu’s arms and soothingly murmured in his ear.

“Kazu there’s something that you need to know…”
