“So brother dear, what the hell is going on between you three?” His sister asked as she came into his room. Nino barely looked up from his game, Jun had only left half an hour ago and he could still taste him in his mouth which was one of the reasons he was finding it difficult not to look at her.

“What do you mean?”

“Kazunari you can’t fool me… Have they had a falling out? It’s never just two of you…”she said, giving off the strange impression that she was a T.V reporter. She played about with one of her bangs, continuing to stare at him and Nino felt like she was reading his soul, but at least she had given him a good excuse for their weird behaviour,

“Nee-chan, you’re right, they have had an argument…Kind of…” He admitted pausing his game and his sister sighed, a smug smile on her face

“What was it? A girl they both liked?”

“Wha-… What do you mean?”

“Well that’s the only thing that can come between two friend right, love?” She mumbled darkly and Nino knee his sister wasn’t just talking about their situation. If he thought about it she had been spending a lot of time at home recently and her friend hadn’t been around either.

“You and Mina had a falling out over a guy?” He asked and her cheeks coloured

“Yeah… So what…” she grumbled coming to sit against his bed, hugging her knees tightly,

“Who?” He asked though he kind of already suspected the answer, there was only one person that he knew his sister had a crush on. The idea kind of made his stomach feel funny, she didn’t answer for a while tugging at one of the bows on her skirt before whispering

“… Toma…”

“Toma? You mean as in ‘Toma’ my bo-Bestfriend?” He asked, the funny feeling finding its way into his heart now, and she nodded the blush filling her face. It was a little scary to see her looking so girly, even the Lolita costumes she wore never gave her the girly impression he had of her now,

“Yeah, we both kind of like him, don’t judge okay? I mean he’s fun and cute…” She said and Nino added, ‘sexy, loving’ exactly the same as Jun, that’s why it’s completely impossible to pick between them.

“He’s also seeing someone” He mumbled and she turned to look at him, her eyes wide but Nino could see a confused mix of delight and a little sadness in her face.  

“No way! Who?” she gasped out gripping at the bed her head shaking so much it dislodged one of the tartan ribbons in her neatly curled hair.

“A girl in our class” Nino lied with a quick shrug, his eyes drifting away from her face, for siblings they had always been close, even with the Lolita look at the end of the day she was a complete tomboy and was the only person that would give him a run for his money at Mario kart, he hated lying to her but he couldn’t tell her the truth about his twisted relationship with Jun and Toma

“And Jun liked her too?” She murmured with understanding in her eyes and Nino gave a nod

“Yes…” he answered softly, “I don’t know what to do, they don’t even seem to want to speak to each other anymore… I’m worried that I’m going to lose both of them because of this”

“Kazu… There’s nothing you can do, they have to sort it out between them, but it’s got to be hard on you… You three have been inseparable since you got out of nappies” She said grabbing his hand with one of hands and pressing their foreheads together and even more guilt coiled around his heart like a snake. “You’ll be okay, Kazu…”

“Yeah, I will and you will too right nee-chan?” He mumbled wishing that he could tell her the truth about their messed up relationship. Hana gave a smile letting him go and flicking his nose,

“Let me kick your ass at Mario” She said and Nino let out a long laugh getting into a seated position on the bed as Hana did the same.

“Are you sure that doesn’t ruin your cute and sweet image?” he asked handing her a purple control pad.

“Its only you” She shrugged and laughing again Nino switched on the game and soon they were nudging and fighting at each other for the shells. His heart felt lighter when she left the room, but it wasn’t long before the sick feeling started clawing its way into him again and he pulled out his mobile phone, thinking about it for only half a minute before dialling Toma’s number.

“Nino is everything okay?” Toma asked answering almost straight away and Nino sighed closing his eyes

“I just… I just wanted to talk to you…” He answered and he heard the delight in his boyfriends voice when he asked

“You wanted to talk to me not Jun?”

“Its okay right?” Nino mumbled, it was Jun’s day but after his talk with his sister he just wanted to hear Toma’s voice

“Yeah, but its Jun’s day” Toma said slowly, his voice thick with guilt now and Nino almost cursed with the stupidity of the Jun’s Day, Toma’s day he couldn’t cope with it and he and only lasted about two days

“You went to see him yesterday…” He pointed out with a small sigh, he wanted to see them both together again, he wanted them both so much.

“Ah… Jun told you about that?” Toma sounded really guilty now and Nino knew he had guessed right, it had been Toma’s idea

“Yes he told me… My oral virginity?”

“Sorry, Nino…” Toma mumbled and Nino wasn’t sure how much of his sulking was due to guilt and how much was due to jealousy judging from the next question he thought that it was more jealousy “So did you… Did you do it with him?”

“I thought that was against the rules?”

“You’re right, sorry Nino…” Toma sighed, and Nino smiled at the sound down his ear the only thing that would make this better would be, being able to hear Jun there too.

“Wait a second, Toma…” he said getting to his feet and going into the living room,

“What are you doing?” Toma asked but Nino ignored him in favour of grabbing the house phone and dialling Jun’s number, his short fingers moving with practiced skill. “Nino?”

“Hello, aunty, is Jun there?” Nino said brightly, and he heard Toma’s voice catch as he started going back into his bedroom, Jun’s mum told him to wait for a minute and he hummed down the line, his voice echoing through both phones. It was only a short time because Jun came on the line, sounding a little out of breath,

“Kazu is everything okay?”

“Everything’s fine I just wanted to hear your voice” he held both phones to his ear as he lay back on the bed. He could hear both of them breathing “You should know that I’m talking to Toma too…”

“Oh, right…” Jun mumbled “Did you phone him first?”

“Yep” Nino shrugged “I was depressed”

“Depressed so you call Toma on my day” Jun bit out bitterly, and Nino rolled his eyes before muttering,

“I was depressed about Toma….”

“Why were you depressed about me?” Toma asked against his right ear and Nino had to wonder why he sounded so delighted by that fact.

“Because my sister finally admitted that she and her friend had big fat crushes on you and I got jealous….” He snapped angrily and he heard Jun take a deep gasping breath at that and for a second Nino’s mind rolled back to earlier when he ad first taken him into his mouth.

“Wow there’s something about Toma that really gets the Ninomiya family hot a bothered, ne?” Jun said bitterly and Nino rolled his eyes, he should have known that this was a bad idea but he couldn’t help it. “Maybe you should just admit that you like him the most…”

“Because I don’t like him the most and I don’t like you the most I like you both the same I want you both the same Jun, Toma” he said as loudly as he dared aware that only the slightest noise would have his sister banging on the paper thin wall. “I love you both…And I don’t think I can do this… This whole time share I can’t do it… I can’t put up with two weeks of this…”

“Kazu, Nino” They said together quickly and Nino took a shaky breath shaking his head even though he knew they couldn’t see it.

“I’m sorry but I can’t…”
