Author: KrystalKatz

Rated; R

Length: Chaptered

Genre: Romance, Angst, SakurAiba fluff, AU

The disclaimer thingy: Yeah I wish I owned them but my name isn't Johnny... I could change my name to Johnny but I still wouldn't own them... I only own a cat named Aiba and the plot

Pairings: MatsuMiya, SakurAiba, SakuMoto (Friendship) AiMiya(Friendship)

Guests: Nishijima Takahiro (AAA) <I changed his age too, he's the same age as Aiba in this> and Domoto Koichi (KinKi kids) <Like wise with the age he's ten years older *Sorry Ko-chan, I still love you*>

A/N; Warning some slightly emo Nino, sorry about that, I love Nino so it was really hard writing him like this. :-(, character ages changed, Ohno is about 8 or 9 years older, Aiba and Sakurai are about 6 years older than Matsumoto and Ninomiya.

<Nino slammed the door shut, unable to stand the war his parents were waging, he could tell their marriage wasn't going to last. He pulled out his phone, it had been a week since he and Matsu had been caught but there were no messages or phone calls and he was getting worried. He had wanted to go and see him but he guessed that would just make things worse. With a sigh he decided to go to an arcade, when he saw Matsu walking towards him with a group of schoolmates.

"Hey, Jun... Isn't he your friend?" One of the guys said motioning to him

Matsu stared at Nino, and then shrugged "Not really, we used to live near each other, our mums were friends. He couldn't make friends of his own so I was forced to let him hang out with me. He practically stalked me. It was creepy..."

"What? Seriously?"

"Yeah, pretty disgusting right?" Matsu sneered joining in the laughter

"Fuck you, Matsumoto Jun" He spat refusing to allow the tears to fall, "You fucking princess..." He wanted to punch him, but all he did was walk away trying to tell his self, that there must be a reason. Two days later they had to work together on a CM, he was almost hopeful until Matsu ignored him except for their two lines of dialogue. He hid the fact his heart was broken, and relayed on his bratty side to pull him through they'd exchanged harsh words the hadn't been able to understand what was going on so had put it down to rivalry...>

Nino moaned as he opened his eyes, wiping his eyes as he pushed away the last of his dream. He blinked up at the ceiling he would have been convinced last night never happened, if it wasn't for the fact he was tucked up in bed instead of sprawled on the sofa a game controller in his hand. He wondered why Matsu was being so nice to him now. 'Maybe it has something to do with the SakurAiba pair' he thought dully, Aiba-senpai was spending a lot of time trying to talk to him after filming. Maybe he had convinced Matsu to do for one of his experiments. He shook his head quickly, at that thought, Aiba might be an idiot but he doubted he could be cruel on purpose. He crept out of his room wondering where Matsu was lurking, the first thing he noticed was his apartment was clean, Mount Fuji was gone, and everything smelt vaguely of cleaning products. After looking around dumbly for awhile he realized he was alone, the settee was empty; the blanket he normally used was neatly folded sitting on top of his pillow. He stifled a sigh, ignoring the pain in his heart; he bent to search through the fridge.

"I cleaned it out"

Nino jumped, his heart almost leaping out of his chest as his door opened and Matsu strolled in wearing an interesting mix of clothes and carrying a bag of shopping. Matsu caught his stare and mumbled "Sakurai-senpai... Remind me never to ask him to get me clothes again"

"If anyone can pull it off it's you" Nino smirked lightly, before going to collapse on the settee

"Why do you live here? Where does all your money go?"Matsu grumbled putting the bag down and flicking on the kettle,

"Savings" Nino muttered, watching him buzz around the kitchen, "You don't have to do all this you know..."

"I do..." Matsu mumbled softly "Oh and you have to pack some stuff..."

"What? Why?"

"Because there is no way I'm spending another night on that lumpy thing... You can come and stay with me for a few days..."

"Huh? No chance!" Nino hissed, like an angry cat, his eyes flashing "What the fuck is this, Jun? You spend four years trying to wipe away my existence and now you're here trying to act like my fucking guardian angel... Well stop it, if this is because you feel guilty or whatever..."

"You're right, I am feeling guilty; and I have been trying to avoid you for four years... It never worked though," He gave a tired sigh, smiling sadly "Please, Nino... Last night...You really scared me, let me just make sure you're okay and then we can go back to trying to rip each other apart"

Nino stared at him in confused silence for awhile reading the pain in his old friend’s eyes, he couldn't trust him, but anything was better than staying here alone, he decided as he gave a nod "Fine, it doesn’t mean I’ve forgiven you or that we’re friends again... "

"I can accept that"

"And I’m bringing my games... Where ever they are..." He said looking around and scratching his head, unable to even find a wire.

"I already packed them" Matsu murmured giving a relieved laugh before continuing the breakfast. Nino glared at him, ‘Damn it’ He thought looking at the smile on Matsu’s face, ‘why the hell can’t I still say no to you?’ It annoyed him that he had that weakness in his character. He knew he hated Matsu and everything that had happened between them but having Matsu look at him like that made his resistance crumble as if it wasn’t even there. It had been the same when they were kids, all Matsu would have to do is look at him with those eyes and he would have swum the Pacific Ocean to make him happy, why the hell was he feeling like that now? Why the hell couldn’t his stupid heart just accept he was just someone Matsu had taken pity on? He pulled his DS out of his back pocket, shifting his gaze away from Matsu, who was preparing what seemed like a feast, ‘Is he thinking of inviting the entire building?’Nino mused as he forced his attention on his game.

"If you spent less on games you could afford a better place..." he heard Matsu mutter almost under his breath,

"I like it here" He lied; it wasn’t that he liked it, he hated this apartment but it was fairly comfortable and close to work and college. Besides he needed his savings it wasn’t like he wanted to be an idol forever it was just a means to an end for him. Not that he was going to tell Matsu any of this. "Maybe I’m just too lazy to move"

Two hours later Nino was looking around Matsu's tidy guest room, wondering why everything was kept so tidy, it reminded him of Matsu's mother, she was always tidy. He remembered that time they were having their shared 10th birthday, and someone had gotten chocolate cake on the hall carpet, the next hours game was avoiding Mrs. Matsumoto, and her yells,. I never did tell on him, Nino mused with a half smile.

"Nino, are you done yet? Are you hungry?" Matsu asked knocking on the door, Nino raised an eyebrow as he was pushed open, and he almost grinned when he saw Matsu had already changed into something more normal.

"Are you trying to over feed me? We only had breakfast two hours ago..."

"Yeah, right... Sorry" Matsu came and sat on the bed, looking at his hands,

"Still eat when you're nervous, Jun-tan?" Nino asked deciding the next few days were going to be a nightmare if they were going to be awkward around each other.

"Don't call me that!" Matsu pouted half jokingly "But yeah, I do..."

"Um... So... When are you at work again?" Searching for a topic and doubting ‘Why did you leave me and rip my heart into shreds?’ would be a good place to start.

"I have a few days off" Matsu shrugged, picking up a Mario kart game and looking at it.

"Okay... Um..."

"Jeez,I expected things to be strange between us, but this weird... You were like my brother once..." Matsu cried throwing the game back down, to join its brothers and sisters.

Nino hid the stab of pain in chest at the term ‘brother’ and gave a small smile "Yeah, I guess we were... Do you still remember how to play Mario?" He asked

"Of course... I can still kick your butt" Matsu nodded, smiling gratefully at the safe conversation. there were things that were going to have to be said but at the moment Nino wanted to believe things were okay between them.

"As if! You never beat me once!"

"Yeah right... I remember a few times" Matsu scoffed going to set his own wii, Nino rolled his eyes, deciding now wasn’t the time to tell him that he used to let him win. As they settled on the cream settee listening to the theme song, Nino was glad some of the tension had dropped, at least on the outside. As he grabbed his handset he asked softly,

"Am I allowed to work at least, or am I a prisoner? Because you have to explain to Ohno-san if it's the second..." Enjoying the laughter that washed over him, as he tried to remind himself that it was just until he was... Stable, it didn’t mean anything.

A/N here’s part 6, I was meant to post it yesterday but my nephew came to visit and we spent the day watching Kaibutsu-kun and doing our “Kai-Kai, exercises” ^.^  Hope you enjoy!
