Ohno stared at his boyfriend rather nervously waiting for the answer, though that didn’t show on his face. Nino had remarked once that he was a pretty expressionless guy and although he had been working on it, he knew that was still the truth.

He was honestly surprised that somebody as bubbly and as beautiful as Aiba stayed with him. He knew that Aiba was his muse, and he really hoped that he would continue to be so. When he had first seen him he had never dreamt that Aiba would accept his feelings let alone return them.

Aiba was like a shining star in his life, brightening up with his smiles and kisses. When they had first met he had doubted his abilities and was questioning if he should even stay in college and then he had heard a breathless laugh and saw what looked like an angel coming out of an arcade.

That night he had worked like a man possessed on sketches of his unknown model, he had sketched him as an angel and then a fallen angel. The next day he had gone back to the arcade hoping that he would see him again, and he had. For the next week and a half he had almost stalked his muse, and he began to know him pretty well, he began to feel more than a little creepy.

He had wondered if Nino was his boyfriend he hoped not but he’d never really thought he would be able to talk to him and then he had been given the dog. Masaki had been his real angel by knocking Aiba over that day.

They had spent the day together and although they had nothing in common Aiba had actually asked to see him again and now here he was proposing to the love of his life.

Aiba had been silent for a while and Ohno felt his heart thump against his ribs wondering his he was going to shout out him or chuck something when suddenly Aiba gave a loud scream and threw himself at him.

“Yes!” Aiba screamed against his ear kissing his cheek and mouth repeatedly until Yusuke came in

“Hey! Get a room!” he laughed and Aiba let go of Ohno to run over to him

“Oh-chan asked me to marry him!” He said and Yusuke gave a smile that could almost rival his brother’s.

“Really that’s so cool!” He said returning the hug “So do I get to be your best man?”

“Huh? I um… I don’t know…”

“Yusuke… Masaki…” Aiba’s mother said coming in “Are you helping out today or…”

“Oh-nii asked Nii-chan to marry him” Yusuke said before either Aiba or Ohno could say anything. Mrs Aiba gave a bright grin and quickly came over to hug Ohno.

“Congratulations and welcome to the family” She said

“Thank-you” Ohno replied and then she went to hug her son

“Congratulations… But I really do need some help out there…”

“Eh… Um… I’ll be right out…” Aiba said looking apologetically at Ohno who smiled

“I’ll help you out too…” He said earning another hug from Mrs Aiba.

“I promise that it’ll only be for about an hour” She said “And then you can go and celebrate…”

“Actually I need to tell my parents” Ohno told her, it was the truth when he had talked it over with his mum earlier she had all but threatened him to bring Aiba straight over.

As they worked in the restaurant Mrs Aiba was talking about having a huge wedding party. Though there was nowhere that they could find a space for all the Aiba family to come and stay.

After they had finished helping out in the restaurant they headed to Ohno’s parents and they were treated to another round of hugging and ‘congratulations’. Ohno smiled loving the way that his parents loved Aiba as much as he did, if they weren’t as supportive as they were he would have had to make a very difficult choice though he knew he would more than likely still pick Aiba.

After they managed to escape his mums loving clutches they walked around for a while both still grinning like idiots

“Oh-chan… Are you sure you want to be with someone like me forever?” Aiba asked at the stood on a bridge looking at a inky black river and Ohno was surprised by the uncertainty in his voice.

“I’m positive… Are you sure you want to be with someone as boring as me forever?”

“Oh-chan… you’re not boring! I love you so much…” Aiba told him proudly startling an elderly couple slightly. “And about the wedding party… Oh-chan do you really want a big party and everything?”

“Yep… I want the world to know how proud I am of you” Ohno told him softly and Aiba gave him a bright grin.

“I love you… Satoshi…” he whispered and Ohno wished they weren’t in public. Unfortunately they weren’t spending the night together so after a quick kiss at the bus stop Ohno went home alone.

The next day Ohno walked through the college humming softly to himself happily thinking about Aiba and the fact that they were actually engaged. He was about to head to the studio he heard something that caught his attention, it was about Nino and Matsumoto. He even heard Aiba’s name being mentioned, he stopped walking to listen.

“Yeah the heirs of M&N, Matsumoto and Ninomiya… They came out in the middle of the dining room… My brother is at their school… Apparently he says they’re in the middle of a three-way with some one of their friends Aiba something…”

“No way…” One of the girls laughed “That’s gross…”

“Why? Do you even know them?” Ohno asked coming up to them and smiling calmly though inside he was angrier than he had been in years.

“No… But two guys that’s gross enough, but they’re three guys that’s completely sick…”

“They’re not in a three way relationship…” Ohno said as softly as possible.

“Oh how do you know?” the girls sneered

“Because Aiba… Masaki is engaged to me” Ohno told them and then walked off. He was surprised that Aiba hadn’t mentioned any of this last night but then again they had only talked about the engagement.

He went to the art room, looking up at the painting that he was doing as his end of year project. It was of Aiba with emerald wings. He was proud of it but now he decided to add a little detail on the wedding finger. Taking out some gold coloured paint, and did a small ring on his finger, before deciding to skip the rest of his lesson and head to the school in time for Aiba coming out.

He wanted to know what was going off, if things were so bad that they were being talked about in the college he was anxious to know what they were doing to his Aiba in school.

The school wasn’t quite out yet when he arrived so he sat on the low wall sketching anything that came into his eye line in his sketchbook. Though most of them turned out to be Aiba’s face or smile with little love heart surrounding it.

Above the sketch he wrote in very clear letters ‘Ohno Masaki’ and then gave a giggle putting it back in his bag as the school students started to come out. He waited for a while but there was no sign of Aiba’s tall lanky frame or Nino’s small stature and he chewed his lips worriedly.

“Um… Excuse me…” He asked a group of what looked like first year girls “Is Aiba Masaki…”

“He’s in the hospital…”

“What why?”

“There was an accident at lunch…Ninomiya-kun and Aiba-kun was injured…” They told him and Ohno was positive that he was hearing things, there was no way it could be as bad as what he was imagining.
