Matsu led Nino from the hall where the demon promptly fell to his knees with a groan, gripping at the pendent, “Nino?”
“I’m fine... This thing just hurts a little more than normal...” Nino said holding up the pendent
“Is there anything I can do?”
“No...” Nino answered with a sad smile as he got back to his feet holding tightly to Matsu’s arm.”I’ll be okay, don’t look so worried... I haven’t gone yet”
“Nino...”
“Please... Let’s just change the subject” Nino pleaded flashing puppy like eyes at him. Matsu smiled though there was little feeling in it. “This place is the same as when it was first built” The demon said looking around.
“I know I shouldn’t be surprised but... You were here when this was built?”
“Come with me” Nino grinned and pulled him down the main hallway, they passed the second library and through the dining hall and into the servants bedrooms “Excuse me” He grinned at a few startled maids who stared at Matsu and then bobbed a quick confused curtsy before running, giggling.
“Nino? What are you doing?” Matsu asked when he saw Nino moving a clothes chest aside and the kneeling on the floor. Nino motioned for him to join him and Matsu was surprised to see the same mark as on his pendent engraved into the stone. Nino took a dagger and slit the palm of his hand dipping his finger in he pressed it the mark the wall gave a groan and then there was the sound of stone scrapping against stone. The smell of dust was almost over powering as the first stone moved aside to reveal an opening; Nino reached inside and pulled out a tied bundle, flashing another grin at Matsu. The wall slid back into place and the mark was gone. “What is that?”
“The pendent wasn’t the only thing I took” Nino answered putting the chest back and standing up “Do you still have a room here?”
“You can use mine”
“Toma” Matsu spinning round and seeing his old friend standing in the doorway, Toma was just smiling at them leaning against the door frame. Nino smiled
“He really is in there isn’t he?” He murmured “Show us to your room...”
Toma nodded and led the way, while Matsu started to frown “This isn’t the hunter’s rooms...”
“I’m not a hunter... When you hear voices they don’t really trust you to be a hunter... I’m just lucky they couldn’t make me leave the halls, not that I would have minded leaving but Yamapi said I had to stay...”
“A lot has changed since I left even if I wasn’t gone long” Matsu sighed
“It’s not too bad... It was Yamapi’s fault... After you left, he got louder, I got more headaches and I had to admit I still heard him...”
“What was he saying?”
“Mostly he was happy... But worried... He thought Akanishi would get to you before you made it back here... And then you all vanished he was terrified you were dead...”
“When we were with Matthew” Nino mumbled “I take it Yamapi can’t see into the after world”
“But I thought that’s where the kings are” Matsu frowned confused, Nino shrugged
“They are but a guess something happened...” He said looking at Toma who was again talking to himself as if he didn’t have a care in the world “Hey Toma... Have you been able to talk to Yamapi all your life?”
“No...Before I came to the halls I nearly drowned, after that, Yamapi started talking to me” Toma answered with a as he led them up a wooden staircase “so are you dating the hunter or is it just sex?’ Ah Sorry...”
“Yamapi... Always preying...” Nino laughed gripping Matsu’s hand
“He was just curious...”
“Hmm... So you’re with him... All the time?” Nino grinned, his eyes flashing with mischief, causing Matsu to groan inwardly “That’s got to be interesting... Like a weird threesome...”
“Nino...” Matsu hissed
“It’s alright I’m a virgin... I’ve never left the halls...” Toma told them as he pushed open a door, seemingly glad that someone didn’t think he was just crazy. Matsu looked around with a frown; there was a single bed in the centre of the room and a table with a candle on it, but nothing else
“They stuck you up here?”
“After you left nobody else wanted to share a room with me... There was a council meeting about actually keeping me in the halls; the master said I should be fine as long as I don’t disturb any of the hunters...” He shrugged sitting on the bed, “I personally just think he felt sorry for me...”
“You know hunters used to be a lot nicer to each other” Nino mumbled “Didn’t they even consider the possibility that you were telling the truth?”
“No...” Toma answered straight away “I didn’t think you’d believe me either so I’m glad you do...”
“Well Yamapi can tell them himself when we get him back...”
Toma grinned looking with interest at the stuff Nino had just dropped down onto the bed beside him “Hey that’s mine!” He said his voice changing as he picked up a gold wrist band, which had the third’s symbol etched into it.
“I thought you’d recognise it, Yamapi...” Nino grinned “Relax I was going to give it to your host or lover whatever he is...”
“My Lover/His host” Yamapi/Toma shrugged “whatever he is...He’s mine, so keep your paws off him, remember that I am here I don’t want to have sex with you even by proxy okay?’... Ah um... Sorry he’s never taken over like that before...”
“It’s okay... I think it’s because of the wrist band; it was his so it brings a stronger connection to him... So he thinks of you as his lover?” Nino grinned watching Toma’s face go a burning sun colour “Well I think you’re pretty cute, I would have slept with you in a heartbeat even at the risk of Yamapi but the ‘wife’ would get jealous... Ouch!” The demon laughed as he was hit by an angry Matsu
“I’m not your ‘wife’ if anything you’re the ‘wife’...” He snapped
“Pretty hunter... I’m glad you’ve stopped looking at me like I’m about to vanish” Nino smiled kissing him lightly, Matsu clung to him forgetting they had an audience, when they released each other they saw Toma examining the wrist band on his wrist with very deep interest, though his cheeks were flushed.
“And the seconds...I guess Maru would want that” Nino murmured picking up the ring hissing slightly as smoke rose up from it
“He still loves him then?” Yamapi/Toma asked with a sigh “I wondered why he was here”
“You knew too?”
“I think the only one that didn’t realise was Kame” Yamapi/Toma said softly
“Yeah well he was an idiot” Nino murmured and Yamapi/Toma nodded with a laugh “Maru was always better than Akanishi... Make sure you tell Kame that...”
“So you’re really going through with it?”
“Of course I am... It’s time you got your asses back here and started doing something...”
“If only Kame had picked Maru in the first place...”
“None of this would have happened...” Nino murmured, feeling Matsu stiffen beside him slightly; he gripped his hand linking their fingers “As strange as it may seem I’m okay with it turning out this way... I got Jun and Masa’...”
“Wow... ” Yamapi/Toma laughed “What is the deal with your son anyway? I mean... You’re not really the type for... Fatherhood...”
“It’s a long story and as nice as it is catching up, Yamapi... In a couple of hours this place is going to crawling so I want to spend some time alone with Jun” Nino sighed as Yamapi/Toma stared into his eyes and nodded “Besides if you just talking to him gives him headaches what will taking over his body do?”
“You’re right... I’ll take that to Maru or Toma will” Yamapi/Toma said and then gave a soft groan “I prefer the headaches” He mumbled his voice going back to normal and his face white trying to take off the wrist band surprised when it wouldn’t move
“That’s yours for now” Nino smiled “Thanks for lending us your room”
“I guess you want to be alone...” Toma said a small blush colouring his cheeks, at the way Nino’s hands were running over Matsu’s arm
“Toma... I’m sorry I didn’t believe you, about the third” Matsu said softly
“It’s okay you were always nice about not believing me” He grinned with a shrug “So I take this to the nervous guy?”
“Yes... Thank you” Nino said his arms already wrapped around Matsu. Toma nodded and then flashed another of his bright smiles before leaving the room. As soon as the door closed Nino was already pulling at his clothes.
“You really want to do this now?”
“I just want to be as close to you as possible...” Nino mumbled his voice trembling as he kissed his bare shoulder, Matsu sighed and relaxed in his arms, his heart beating against his ribs, ‘A couple of hours’ Nino had said he looked at his demons beautiful face, his heart breaking that in just a few hours, he might never be able to be with him again. He covered Nino’s lips, not realising he was pulling at Nino’s clothes until he heard a soft thump as they hit the bare wood floor along with his own, Nino smiled pushing him down onto the bed and climbed on top of him kissing and biting at his neck
“Nino... I told you...”
“Just this once let me take you, pretty hunter” Nino whispered looking at him with those pleading puppy eyes. Matsu chewed on his lip and then nodded slowly, leaning back to allow Nino’s gentle caresses. His mouth felt amazing as it mouthed over his skin, softly licking and nipping at the flesh, his hand ran over a trail over and up his stomach, while his mouth and tongue moved down to cover his beautiful length. Matsu left out a gasp as his Nino licked and sucked at the tip before taking him fully into his mouth, while the hand that wasn’t playing with his nipple began to slowly prepare him. Matsu let out a gasp of pain as Nino worked three fingers inside him, “Sorry” The demon whispered muffled around him, sending strange sensations up his spine. Matsu tried to answer but all that came out was a soft moan as Nino hit his spot, his back arched forcing him deeper into Nino’s mouth.
“Crap... Fuck me” He mumbled burying his face into the pillow. Nino smiled kissing him lightly as he positioned himself in between Matsu’s thighs,
“I love you” He murmured pushing himself deep into the hunter. Matsu clawed at his shoulder but matched his hips to Nino’s thrusts forgetting everything but Nino’s warmth inside and all around him.
Toma walked to Maru who was leaning against a wall staring around at the strange mixture of demons and hunters, “I was told to give you this” He said holding out the chain. Maru stared at him and then at the silver ring
“This was Kame’s ring” He murmured “Where did you get this?”
“Nino...” Toma answered with a smile, Maru turned the ring around, and then slipped it on his finger without another word, and Toma nodded then went to sit at a table, covering his face with his arms trying to shut everything out his head aching. A while later he opened his eyes and saw the former witch coming towards him,
“Hey, Toma” Aiba grinned coming to sit next to the strange hunter that was staring at a jug of water, “What’s wrong?”
“I was just thinking... When your dad and Jun bring the kings back I won’t have Yamapi in my head anymore” Toma said staring down at the water “I can do without the headaches but he’s always been there...”
“Yeah but you’ll really be able to meet him...” Aiba said “That’ll be fun right?”
“Hmm...We’ll see...” Toma grinned “So you used to be a witch?”
“Yep...” Aiba nodded
“So what is Nino like as a dad? Yamapi’s told me about him but he didn’t know about you”
“He’s my best friend” Aiba answered with a shrug “He’s always been there when I needed him... Even when I didn’t realise that he was... It’s going to be weird when he’s gone...” Toma patted his arm when Aiba’s face fell, it wasn’t that he didn’t think about Nino not being there anymore but he normally tried to push those thoughts away to enjoy the time they had together. It wasn’t as if they had spent all of their lives together but he always been there, all he’d have to do was summon him. Soon he wouldn’t be able to do that, he wished
“Ma-chan? Are you okay?” Sakurai asked coming over as he saw the dark look that had crossed his boyfriends face.
“I’m fine Sho-chan, just thinking too much” He said shaking his dark thoughts away, and flashing a bright smile “There’s a lot of hunters ne?”
“Um... Masaki we’re in the halls of the hunters what did you think we’d find?”
“I just meant that there are a lot of them... All here, I would have thought that they would be out hunting things...“ He said with a shrug, Toma stared at him and then nodded
“There isn’t normally this many hunters here but over the past few weeks the council of hunters has been ordering them back...”
“Why?”
“Because they were going to be used as a sacrifice” Maru answered coming to stand with them, Kame’s ring shining on his finger... Nino told me that while he was in Matthew’s house he heard them talking about it” The others stared at him their faces the same pictures of horror “He told me earlier”
“Where is Nino and Jun?”
“Busy” Toma said his cheeks flushing slightly Aiba rolled his eyes while Maru sighed
“He is still a slut then?”
“I resent you keep calling me a slut” Nino said coming up to them followed closely by Matsu who was looking a little uncomfortable. “You got the ring?”
“Yes, I got it...” Maru answered, twisting the ring in question not looking at the demon who was smirking happily.
“So what do you mean, they were going to be used as a sacrifice?”
“Not everyone here’s loyal but... At the moment I don’t know who...”
“Um... Nino?” A female voice said coming to stand behind the strange party
“Yes?” He said turning to face a female hunter,
“The Master Hunter wishes to see your party...” She told him
“Thank-you... You serve Oh-chan... The first?” He asked looking at the mark on her neck “What’s your name?”
“Ichi Toshimiya” She answered quickly, “I will always serve him I’ll crush anyone that goes against him”
“I’m glad... Good luck” He grinned believing her, his eyes flashing as he patted her arm
“Thank-you” She smiled quickly before turning away. Nino sighed running a hand through his hair
“I guess they’re close” he said a deep sense of foreboding settling in his chest.
A/N: Part 17 sorry I didn’t post this yesterday my sister and her kids came round & trying to do anything other than watch Kaibutsu-kun is impossible my second to youngest nephew calls me Kai-Kai lady :S... Oh I’d like to use everyone that comments user’s names as either hunters or Nino’s demons (if you don’t mind) so if you put either demon or hunter and which king, and I’ll add you in the last few chapters... Hope you enjoy^.^

“Because they were going to be used as a sacrifice” Maru answered coming to stand with them, Kame’s ring shining on his finger... Nino told me that while he was in Matthew’s house he heard them talking about it” The others stared at him their faces the same pictures of horror “He told me earlier”
“Where is Nino and Jun?”
“Busy” Toma said his cheeks flushing slightly Aiba rolled his eyes while Maru sighed
“He is still a slut then?”
“I resent you keep calling me a slut” Nino said coming up to them followed closely by Matsu who was looking a little uncomfortable. “You got the ring?”
“Yes, I got it...” Maru answered, twisting the ring in question not looking at the demon who was smirking happily.
“So what do you mean, they were going to be used as a sacrifice?”
“Not everyone here’s loyal but... At the moment I don’t know who...”
“Um... Nino?” A female voice said coming to stand behind the strange party
“Yes?” He said turning to face a female hunter,
“The Master Hunter wishes to see your party...” She told him
“Thank-you... You serve Oh-chan... The first?” He asked looking at the mark on her neck “What’s your name?”
“Ichi Toshimiya” She answered quickly, “I will always serve him I’ll crush anyone that goes against him”
“I’m glad... Good luck” He grinned believing her, his eyes flashing as he patted her arm
“Thank-you” She smiled quickly before turning away. Nino sighed running a hand through his hair
“I guess they’re close” he said a deep sense of foreboding settling in his chest.
A/N: Part 17 sorry I didn’t post this yesterday my sister and her kids came round & trying to do anything other than watch Kaibutsu-kun is impossible my second to youngest nephew calls me Kai-Kai lady :S...
