“Shit…” Nino swore looking up at Aiba still buzzing from the way Jun had made love to him, he pushed himself up even though Jun let out a growl of protest gripping his arm tightly. Nino smiled stroking his cheek lightly >It’s okay, baby… I’ll be right back< he thought knowing that their connection calmed his lover down. Jun’s grip lessoned on his arm and Nino kissed his lips a few times, savouring the taste of him. He was terrified of what was going to happen when the other group of vampires arrived but he couldn’t let Jun know that, in his present condition he could and would do something stupid.

Jun looked at him his head tilting to one side as he started studying his face. Nino continued to smile reassuringly his fingers moving over Jun’s skin >I promise that it’s all okay, Jun< he told him and slowly his lover nodded seemingly believing him. Nino kissed him again and then pulled on his clothes before helping Jun into his. After he had finished he turned glaring at Aiba who was being rather free with his stares “Are you going to stop staring?”

“Sorry… But… It was a really nice view” The human said with a huge cheeky grin, before vanishing out of the room a whirlwind of blonde hair and bright smiles. Nino clicked his tongue with annoyance, quickly smiling again when Jun touched his arm.

>Kazu, are you okay?<

>Of course I am baby, he’s just a pervert< he answered, glaring at the door again, making light of that seemed better than worrying about the new vampire’s he decided >I don’t like people looking at my Junny<

Jun gave him a weak smile before a growl echoed through his throat Nino watched him as his whole body tensed, and Nino knew that the other vampires had arrived. >It’s okay< he told him straightening out his clothes and standing up. Although he motioned for Jun to stay down his lover also rose to his feet and in unison they turned to the window as they felt a presence nearby. Figures moved past the dusty window and Nino inched close to Jun taking his hand tightly

“What the hell is this place?” he heard a male voice say outside of the room. Jun continued to growl and hiss, Nino wanted to calm him but his own instincts was pushing forwards. None of the made vampires were truly ready to face a group of vampires. Though none of the others were zombie like, like Jun none of them had learnt to focus their new abilities and as the leader of this group it was Nino’s duty to protect them, though he had to admit the only names in his mind were ‘Jun’ and ‘Mayo’.

“I don’t know but I sense some humans and some other vampires” another male voice said Nino let out a hiss of his own before he could stop himself.

“Didn’t the Ninomiya brat run away with some humans?” the first voice said “His human bitch boy and that Ohno kid”

The term ‘Bitch boy’ caused Nino to snap and he headed out through the house Jun following on his heels. They met Sakurai, Aiba and Ohno in the hallway and Nino was glad that another ‘proper’ vampire would be at his side. He almost kicked the door open and gripped Jun tightly to stop him from leaping forward

>Jun, please baby stay beside me…< He pleaded with his mind and although he felt Jun shivering with anger he ‘heard’ him murmur

>I’ll try, Kazu, but I can’t promise anything…< Nino smiled giving his hand a tight squeeze and then turned to the group of rather surprised vampires

“What can I do for you?” He asked in a sing song voice smiling brightly at the new vampires. He didn’t recognise them but they obviously recognised him, he kept his hand tightly in Jun’s as they ran their eyes over him before narrowing sharply

“Ninomiya…” they hissed and Jun growled. Nino tensed as the eyes briefly turned to stare at his lover.

“That’s my name…” He said pulling their gazes back onto him.

“Your father has given an order that, if you’re seen you are to be detained…”

“Well it’s going to be fun to see you try” Nino grinned, his face changing as he flexed his thin but powerful muscles. Jun’s face changed as well and he let out a low whining growl. The vampires stared in a mixture of amazement and disbelief,

“You changed him?” they choked out slowly their teeth barring as they tried to work out what that meant for them. Nino and Sakurai had done their best to hide the smell of vampire and human around the house. They hadn’t wanted any unwanted attention but now that the door had opened it had become obvious that there were a lot of vampires somewhere in it depths. In the group of vampires there was only about seven of them and it was as if they were realising that the odds were being stacked against them. It was possible that away from the house, in the woods was some other vampires though.

“He didn’t I did…” Sakurai mumbled stepping forwards the sharp vampire eyes darted to the maker and Nino realised Sakurai was also showing his true vampire face

“So it’s true. Just like your father lord Ninomiya said… You’re a human lover that favours pets over his own kind…” The first vampire snapped with more fire than he obviously felt. Nino wanted to feel pity for him, this was just the duty he had to his lord and master, Mr Ninomiya. If he hadn’t had said ‘humans’ in such a disgusted tone of voice Nino felt he might have taken pity on him “Looks like something went wrong with your little human bitch though… Looks more like a zombie than a vampire…”

Nino noticed that one or two of the more self-aware vampires had broken away from the main group but the others were standing firm. A loud growling released from everybody’s throats, they watched each other carefully, waiting for a sign of who would attack first. Suddenly a female darted forwards going for Aiba’s throat, Sakurai grabbed her arm easily snapping the bones in several places as he let out a hiss his eyes flashing red. For a maker he was quite powerful but Nino guessed that that was because it was Aiba who had been in trouble, love could make you do some impressive things.

The female vampire sank to her knees letting out a surprised yelp staring at the bones that were sticking out of her arm. The leader of her party glanced at her in mild shock, and then snapped his teeth together. It was as if that had sounded the bell for the fight to begin and as if all at once everybody lunged at somebody. Aiba and Ohno were pushed inside the house and the door was slammed shut. Nino wished that he could have done the same with Jun but when he glance over, his lover seemed to be having fun slamming two heads together. His eyes were red but too Nino’s relief they appeared to be a little focused.

Nino had the leader and two others, he knew singly they wouldn’t be able to even come close to his speed and strength but as they working together things could more interesting than he would like. A hand connected to his chest to prove his point and then another. Pain almost rippled through his body. In the end Nino let go of his thoughts and let his body simply ‘react’ like he had done in the forest when he was hunting. The movements of his body became like water and even he was surprised by some things his body could do. His only thought was that he had to get the fight as far away from the house as he could while still being able to protect it. The leader hiss and spit as Nino quickly dispatched one of his companions by ripping out the jugular vein, as the sound echoed around the field there was movement in the woods and more vampires ran forwards. Trying not to swear Nino managed a quick look around and almost screamed when he realised he couldn’t see Jun anymore.
